The Pathways Programme “Jeunes chercheurs et chercheuses francophones” targets early career researchers (ECRs) from francophone regions in Africa, Europe, and Canada. It aims to support engagement of ECRs with transformative sustainability science and to foster cross-cultural exchanges among francophone ECR communities.
Our programme aims to build bridges between ECRs working in francophone contexts(in Africa, Europe, or Canada) and reinforce their engagement with transformative approaches to research in sustainability science.
The programme will feature online classes and workshops, self-learning modules, and mentoring by senior researchers. We aim to include students working on their master’s thesis as well as PhD students. Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their engagement with transformative sustainability science and to learn from a diversity of perspectives on sustainability challenges and approaches to transformative research.
